Granola Trail Mix

Here's a great take-along snack for hiking, camping, and after-school sports.

TOOLS:

  • measuring cups
  • small mixing bowl
  • six airtight containers or airtight plastic bags

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups granola
  • 1 cup peanuts, almonds, or pecans
  • 1 cup raisins or dates
  • 1 cup dried apricots, apples, pineapples, or banana chips
  • 1 cup mini chocolate or carob chips
  1. Combine granola and your choice of other ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Spoon equal amounts into six airtight containers or zippered sandwich bags.
